The four Livingstonia university campuses are primed to clash in another coming vice Chancellor's trophy encompassing football, basketball, netball, and volleyball.
As always, the Laws campus is expected to host their friends from kaning'ina, Ekwendeni social science and Ekwendeni healthy science campuses.
Speaking to UNSU president, James Ziggy Moyo about the upcoming tournament he highlighted how how igniting the tournament will be.
"Get ready for an exciting week of events, competitions and fun as the vice Chancellor's trophy at the laws campus is back again " he said.
The long awaited tournament is expected to see the rivaly stand up on another level, as the Laws campus were the champions from the previous tournament in football with Ekwendeni social science coming second and kaning'ina came last with no wins.
Laws campus also managed to come first in volleyball and netball, but failed in basketball as kaning'ina came up stronger than anyone.
Making his remarks on how helpful the tournament will be to all the students participating, Wongani Mwachande Mhango, the vice sports director of UNSU shared that the tournament will show that we are all one as students despite being from different campuses.
Adding to that Moyo, UNSU president said that this year's Vice Chancellor's trophy promises to be an event full of excitements and there will be no dull moments.
"All students have to plan to attend this year and continue preparing in their respective campuses" added the president.
Watson Titus Mvula, a kaning'ina campus student , expressed his feeling that he is eager to participate in the tournament and looking forward to the friendships since the event is a testament to the spirit of unity and collaboration.
The tournament is expected to take place between 2 to 6 of April, 2024.
