In a recent announcement, Serato Media Group has confirmed that it has officially parted ways with acclaimed artist Zeze Kingston and his record label, Money Making Music. The separation, described as amicable by both parties, ends a four-year partnership between the entertainment group and Kingston.
Throughout the successful collaboration, Serato Media and Kingston achieved notable milestones, including the production of hit songs, sold-out tours, signed deals, and prestigious awards.
“Working alongside Zeze for the past four years has been an honor and a privilege. Together, we’ve celebrated a record number of achievements,” the statement reads.
Despite the end of their professional relationship, Serato Media expressed its deep appreciation for Kingston’s artistry and the journey they shared.
“We count ourselves among his biggest fans and are grateful for the ride with him. We wish him all the best with his future endeavors,” the release adds.
Serato Media Group is known for its significant influence in the Southern African music and entertainment industries, managing and distributing top artists in the region. Although this marks the end of one chapter, both parties remain optimistic about their futures in the industry.
