WEEKEND FUN AT KANING'INA CAMPUS

Over the weekend of March 23 - 24, 2024, the University of Livingstonia, Kaning'ina Campus, held various activities for student interaction.


On Friday, there was a Mock Chikhonswe event organized by Finales for fundraising, followed by an Open Air Disco.


On Saturday, the events continued with the Mr. and Ms. Unilia competition, which was mainly sponsored by TNM Agulu went successful and winners were chosen.


Within Mr. and Miss Unilia, there were performances by different supporting artists, such as Caleb, T.O.G, Red Eye, Falktalez, and Octwenty.


One of the upcoming artists who performed, Caleb, described the show as nice and mentioned that people were enthusiastic.


Prince Chitz, who is very popular now in Malawi, also performed his hit songs "Meka" and "Chongo."


Chizmo Njuchi brought energy to the stage with his performance.

During the interview, he said the show, the audience was nice and it was something unexpected.


“When I was coming here for performance, I was telling my guys that I don't know if I had funbase in Mzuzu because if I recall very well, this is my third time to perform in Mzuzu and the support was energetic, Inali Bho” he said.


At the end of the interview, he said, if you need me, I'll be always available because I have been satisfied with the performance here at Kaning'ina.


Ace Jizzy, the last performer, shared that the audience sang along to his songs, and he was pleased with the response.


“I have performed in so many places in Mzuzu, both schools and Stadiums and all I can say that the audience is very engaging and I'm grateful” he said.


In his closing remarks, Ace Jizzy paid tribute to Late Martse by performing some of his songs like "Mwapindulanji" and "Go Deeper."
