We've seen artists come and go in Malawi's Urban Music Industry, some with hit songs but lacking consistency.
But, there is no argument if we say there are artists who are coming in the game with power, and of them is the "Mudyela" Hit Maker, Fada Moti.
Fada Moti, born Pempho Jaspher Faith, originally comes from Ntcheu District. He is the first born of family of two.
Being the first born in his family, he has been trying to find what can bring food on the table and he finally found his calling in music.
But what makes Fada to be called Fada? What makes him to be known? It's 'Mudyela'.
Mudyela received praise from Malawian music lovers and also a great number of airplays with it's amazing concept, which made people to dance on it.
“I made the beat of mudyela when I was at my shop. I liked it much and later, I jumped on it” he said.
“At first, I didn't think that it will blow like that because I was just recording it as a Bangwe anthem but who knows God's plan, now it's a National anthem” he added.
Fada shared that he sees himself as a promising artist citing UK artist J-Hus as his idol and godfather in music.
The artist who currently stays in Blantyre shared that music aside, he has other pursuits inorder to find relaxation.
"I do photography, enjoying music, and also work as a videographer." he said.
Apart from those he also shared that, he owns a clothing store in Blantyre City.
Asking him about problems which he faces in the industry, he pointed out that, his main challenge now is connections.
He advices aspiring artists who are coming in the game to put God first because music is spiritual.
Recently, he has been featured on a song with Trappy Beats titled "Weekend" and he expressed that working with Trappy was not difficult because he sees him as his Brother.
Fada promises his fans that he will be releasing new songs soon with big artist in our music industry.
