Love Birds from Abroad

By Madalitso Mtukula

It all began playfully when Tay journeyed to Zambia as an esteemed guest for a festival in September. Little did anyone foresee the enchanting encounter awaiting him. Amidst the vibrant festivities, Tay crossed paths with the captivating Mutale Mwanza, and an enchanting tale unfolded.

As the festival unfolded, their shared moments were adorned with celestial joy, evident in the sparkle of their smiles. Mutale expressed her fondness, whispering, "Our time together felt like a glimpse of paradise; I yearn for it to become a second home."

In the quiet of the night, rapper Grin bared his soul, restless and consumed by thoughts of Mutale. His infatuation blossomed, leading to plans for her visit to Malawi, craving her presence deeply and wishing for his 'mulamu' to experience the magic of Malawi.

Weeks later, Mutale graced Malawi, welcomed by Tay Grin amidst a spectacle of opulent cars. Their journey continued as they sought the blessing of former head of State, Bakili Muluzi, for their budding romance.

On November 24th, an event at Amaryllis Hotel painted a canvas of love, where Tay Grin's gestures spoke volumes – he orchestrated performances by esteemed Malawian artists like Merchah, Namadingo, Zani Challe, and others. The grandeur didn't cease; they ventured to Lilongwe on November 26th, rubbing shoulders with luminaries in the land.

When Mutale bid farewell and returned home, Tay, the man of the moment, found himself overwhelmed. His heart poured onto Facebook; he felt adrift, yearning for Mwanza's presence, confessing, "I ache in this solitude; your absence weighs heavily on my soul."

Such heartfelt displays are the hallmark of lovebirds deeply intertwined. Mutale's words echoed her sentiments: "Worry not, my love. I'll soon grace your side. Your absence has left an ache in my heart; I long to be with you."

Driven by emotion, Tay embarked on a journey from Malawi to Zambia to reunite with Mutale, reveling in precious moments together. Their escapades included a visit to a national park where Tay whimsically mused about paying lobola in the form of elephants instead of cows.

Together, they shared a poetic experience at the Ngoma Awards, where Tay serenaded the audience with 'Someone', alongside Yo Maps.

With all these sweet messages, their trending pictures on social media and the excitement, the authenticity of their bond remains veiled in mystery. Only time will unveil the truth behind their alluring connection.
